Short Read of the Week for November 26, 2020

Our first recommendation in this morning’s Short Read of the Week meeting was a fascinating analysis in The Oregon Capitol Insider of Oregon election results, including information about how Oregonians voted differently this year at county and local levels:

Oregon continues blue streak, and lesser known voting stats

We also chose to recommend an article from The Guardian in part because its author (Bernie Sanders) sets out the difference between Republicans and Democrats so clearly and concisely:

How do we avoid future authoritarians? Winning back the working class is key

And we talked about our gratitude for the unity we saw among Democrats during this election season. Our chair expressed it as feeling of family, working shoulder-to-shoulder, in his Chair’s Corner message today. Have you read it?
