Short Read of the Week for October 1, 2020

At this morning’s selection meeting we chose two items that we hope every Tillamook Democrat will read and share. One is IBEW Endorses Joe Biden for President., suggested by Tillamook Democrat Teri Greeson, which we chose in part because Tillamook county has so many members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and in part because the endorsement speaks to every working family, not just IBEW union members.

The other is Make Americans Trust Elections Again, in the 2020-09-30 Wall Street Journal (our copy here) because it appears in one of the few legitimate news sources widely trusted by Republicans, and it rebuts the dangerous and wildly irresponsible attacks that Trump has been making on the legitimacy of voting by mail.
